Outdoor Boudoir at Rattlesnake Lake

Rattlesnake is just stunning. For folks who love the mountains and water, Rattlesnake Lake can be the perfect place for outdoor boudoir near Seattle.

This lake represents a peaceful place, an escape, and a reminder to this client to take up space. In a world that tells femmes and women, especially plus size Black and melanated women and femmes, that they are too much or too loud, being at Rattlesnake Lake can help counteract these messages. Being at Rattlesnake Lake reminds me how small I am in the grand scheme of things. This lake reminds me that I am never too much or taking up too much space. No matter how much I sprawl or yell, the lake will always be bigger, more vast, more powerful than I could ever imagine.

A and I did exactly this. We giggled, cried, reflected and had such an intimate, but powerful photo session here together. It was a goddamn dream.

This person is just incredible.

They have such a way of bringing out compassionate conversation, like a magnet for authenticity. They are brilliant, curious, kind, hilarious, and so brilliantly in touch with their emotions that it inspires me to do the same.
