How One Phone Call Changed Everything

My session with M is a perfect example why having an initial phone call is vital to my process.

Why?

I learned that M is setting up a sex education business.

M and I met at a bridal trade show. She was interested in doing boudoir and we set up a phone call. And as a practice, I offer professional portraits to anyone in the therapy and sex education space whenever I have capacity. We decided that what is more interesting to M was creating some branding images as they set up their business.

(I’m not saying every phone call works this way, but I really try to be as individualized whenever possible.)

We decided to meet at a beach in King County and take some branding images. She brought some gorgeous dresses, toys, and books to highlight in their marketing. M is just a ray of sunshine. Truly.
