Newborn Sweetness

Recently, I did a newborn session in the grandparents’ home just a few days after this little one was born. This kiddo is so loved. From the sleepy parents who just adored on them to the larger family and community who loved this baby immensely before they were even born. This is one lucky kiddo.

As someone with a complicated relationship with my own family, it can be so healing for myself to do family sessions.

Especially for newborns, it’s such a reminder of how we all used to be so tiny and fragile. I feel an incredibly honored to celebrate a family so soon after a major transition in their life. This family was no exception.

At just 5lb, this little one loved the camera, hated being cold, and was surprisingly awake during our session. They were immediately ready to be adored. And can you blame them!?! Look at this yummy little one. I’m dead.
