Wintery Beach Maternity Session

It’s always an honor to be part of any family’s session. I consider it such an honor to meet different parents, kids, and celebrate in a way that feels authentic to each family. While my partner and I are child-free by choice, we love celebrating people who are excited to bring in a new family member. There’s nothing like loving on a baby and handing them back to the parents, am I right!

When my friend shared the news about her rainbow baby, I was overjoyed. We just simply do not talk about miscarriages enough and all the complexity that comes with creating a human. This isn’t that blog, but I know that looking at maternity photo sessions can bring up a lot of feelings.

These images were time to reflect on the joy, excitement as well as the fear, overwhelm that comes with being a first-time parent. Anticipating so much.

This session was a time for the parents to connect with each other as well as honor the baby that is almost here.
