Spring Break + high energy kids = Silly Faces photo project
Spring Break with kids can be a nightmare of "I'm bored" and "there's nothing to do" and endless screen time. Or, you could book the Silly Faces photo project and give your high-energy, goofy, hilarious kids something actually fun to do.
I'm taking 2 families for this special themed session on April 7 or April 16 in Seattle. And this isn't your typical "sit still and smile" family portrait session. This is for families with at least one kid who is silly as fuck and needs an outlet for all that chaotic energy.
What is the Silly Faces project?
This is a photo session designed specifically for kids who don't do "traditional" well. You know the type - the kid who makes faces in every photo, who can't sit still, who thinks the whole idea of formal portraits is boring.
Instead of trying to force your kid to be something they're not, this session leans all the way into the silly. We're encouraging the goofy faces! We're celebrating the high energy. We're making weird expressions and being ridiculous together. And somehow, through all that chaos, we're going to create some amazing family photos.
Plus, I have a really cool artwork concept in mind for this project that's going to showcase your kid's personality in the best way possible.
This is for all families (yes, including yours)
When I say "families," I mean ALL families. Queer families, polyamorous families, blended families, chosen families, plus size families - everyone deserves to be in the photos, too. If you have a silly kid who needs an outlet for their energy during Spring Break, this session is for you.
And honestly? If you have a silly kid, you probably also have a silly family dynamic. Families with goofy kids tend to be families that don't take themselves too seriously, that laugh at the chaos, that embrace the weirdness. That's exactly the energy this session is designed to capture.
The logistics
I have space for 2 families total. That's it. One slot on April 7, one slot on April 16. Both sessions will be in a gorgeous forest near Seattle.
These are pre-planned themed sessions with a specific creative concept, so they're not your typical "show up and we'll figure it out" sessions. We'll have a plan, but the plan involves letting your kid be gloriously silly. So it's structured chaos, if that makes sense.
After the session, we'll have an ordering appointment where you see all the images and choose the artwork you want for your home. Because these photos deserve to be on your walls, not just sitting on your phone. Your silly, goofy, hilarious kid deserves to be celebrated with actual art in your home.
How to book your Silly Faces session
If you want to fill Spring Break with something fun (and get some amazing family photos in the process), let's do this. I have 2 spots available. April 7 or April 16. and once they're gone, they're gone.
Reach out through my website or DM me to claim your spot. Tell me about your silly kid (or kids—multiple silly children are absolutely welcome). Let's make some art that celebrates the chaos.
Because your high-energy, whimsical, goofy, hilarious kid? They're perfect exactly as they are.
