Outdoor Boudoir: A Journey to Body Acceptance and Self-Discovery

Our bodies are meant to change. To those of us who menstruate, our bodies change week-to-week.

Especially with quarantine, all of us are getting used to our current body. Whenever we talk about our bodies, we have normalized complaining about the changes. Whether it’s a change in mobility, range of motion or just growth, we see change as negative. Whenever there is change, there is an opportunity to reconnect with ourselves.

Boudoir can be one of the few places where we are simply there to be curious about and celebrate our bodies. In outdoor boudoir, we remember that we are part of nature. And I’m sure nature is admiring us back.

Boudoir with me is about connecting with and exploring what our body is today. Throughout our session, we’re not focusing on sex or whatever we think sexy “should” look like. Rather, we take time to reconnect to our bodies. I want our outdoor boudoir session to feel like a deep inhale and exhale.

I want you to leave our outdoor boudoir session together feeling more connected, appreciative, and present in your body.

Almost everyone leave our session feeling like extra hyped up. You don’t have to come into the session already feeling good about your body. Oftentimes I go into my own boudoir feeling quite insecure or nervous, but always leave feeling completely 180 and confident. This is simply time to show up for you, whatever way that looks or feels. I’ve had folks cry, giggle, laugh uncontrollably, feel rage, and mostly feel peaceful.

You can come into your boudoir session and just be curious. Explore what it feels like to be in your body and what it feels like SEEN.
