Hiking to a Ravine for a Family Photo Session

When I met with K and her family, I knew immediately that I adored them. They are so easy to spend time with and I adored how involved everyone was in the process. K’s family have three boys and they are all so lovely. They each brought such a sweetness and softness.

We ended up going to one of their favorite parks as a family. They showed me their favorite trail, which led down a (very steep!) trail to this gorgeous ravine. There was a bit of water passing through trees, millions of leaves, and rock. We got to play and take some fun family images. Then, we hiked up to the playground. The boys got to skateboard, show me tricks, and the littlest was running around in literal circles having a blast. It was such a delight! We spent almost two hours together just playing.

Together, we created a gorgeous family album that will be the perfect keepsake for when these boys grow up. In respect to the parents’ wishes, none of the kids’ faces will be shared (yay internet safety!). But some of my favorite images of the parents and non-faces are below!
