Hiking for a Family Photo

Can every family session be this dreamy? We started this photo session in the mountains with a hike. I did the 52 hike in 2021 and kind of burnt out of hiking. So now getting to hike is a treat. We walked a bit, stopped to take some images, and kept walking.

At one point, we paused to admire some otters. They were playing near the water so we spent a few minutes talking about water creatures, wondering about what the otters were doing, and talking about what we think lives in the mountain river.

It was just so dreamy and fun. This family is so sweet with one another. B, the person who reached out to me, has such a beautiful curiosity. They shared stories, we giggled, and found our way to the water. After taking more than enough images, we headed back to the car.

When we got back together for their ordering appointment, they ordered several frames. All of which were delivered the day before Christmas! I loved the artwork we created. See some of my favorite images from our hiking family photo session.
