Finding Joy in the Wild: An Outdoor Boudoir Adventure Near Bellingham

I love doing outdoor boudoir. There's something about being outside in lingerie that just hits different. When J and I started planning her outdoor boudoir session near Bellingham, I knew it would be fun immediately..

Where the Forest Meets the Water

We headed into the gorgeous Pacific Northwest woods—you know, the kind with waterfalls spilling over mossy rocks and trees so tall they feel like nature's own cathedral. Oh, and J brought a light saber. Talk about badass! It was the perfect addition to a session that was all about playing, laughing, and just being yourself.

The forest was our playground. We giggled our way through the trees, splashed into the cool water, and captured moments that felt both strong and soft. That shot of her by the water? I'm still not over it. There's something about being outside—feeling the ground under your feet, hearing the water rush by—that makes you feel so alive and present in your own skin.

J made the whole thing so easy and fun. She smiled through everything, even the cold water and slippery rocks. And can you believe that she loved so many images that she ordered extras when I dropped off her artwork? There were just too many good ones to choose from.
