Bad Angles
When did you first learn that certain angles were “bad”?
Why do we think that by only saving the images we think make us look smaller, that we would enjoy those same images years later? We don’t typically enjoy the ones we know we were hiding, miserable, or pretending.
Your loved ones see your body and love you, as you are today. You look good enough to be remembered, adored, and celebrated, exactly how you are today. You don’t have to worry about getting the “right” angle in every image you’re in. As a photographer I say this with love and confidence - all of your angles are “right.”
The people who love you, your kids, family members, friends, community, love who you are. You don’t want to change yourself in order to be remembered. So, take up space in the photo and save it for future you.
